Senior Capstone Film Project.
During this project I worked in a crew of 8 people as the sound designer of the film. Throughout the project I helped with a variety of roles ranging from set dressing, lighting, mic-ing up talent, boom operating, selecting the soundtrack and score of the film, and helping with distribution.
Set on a university campus in 1975, this film follows the lives of Q (a Black adoptee), her roommate Jam (the daughter of former Black Panthers), and Marcus (a student who has experienced the school’s discrimination firsthand) as they bond together to form a Black Student Union.
